Kogorou is arrested as a suspect in the case of the explosion. Conan conducts an investigation to prove Kogorou's innocence, but Amuro gets in his way.

Another motif (that's common in Masahiro's function) is that love is powerful but fine, and such a thing can cause the connection to be split.
