As demons start creeping in through the Witches\' Quarter, its protector must rise to the occasion and stop them from invading the human world.
I, Ichinosuke, failed to get a job 100 times in a row. In fact, my lifelong unemployment streak remains unbroken. On my way to yet another job interview, I was involved in an accident with a truck and tragically passed away. Suddenly, a goddess bestowed upon me the ability to grow at a speed 20 times faster than normal... and another goddess, making a mistake, bestowed upon me the ability to grow at a speed 20 times faster than normal, before sending me to a game-like other world. Wait, 20 times 20... 400 times faster than normal?! However, knowing that I would not become stronger even if I continued growing while being jobless, I aimed to get a job... but I discovered that remaining Jobless was a cheat in and of itself, provided you can stomach the slow leveling process... Which I do at 400 times faster than normal. As my Growth Cheat and Jobless Cheat existed side-by-side in this other world, the story of my adventure, no doubt certified by the job-placement agency as harmful material, begins here.

In the popular VR Net game “Deep Space Frontier,” set in a world where humans, angels, demons, and beastmen exist together, the world is engulfed in chaos due to the threat of the powerful Demon King, Sada. Among the tens of millions of players, heavy user Zen Ichinose is the only one to successfully defeat him! However, his victory is short-lived as he is engulfed by light emanating from his monitor and drawn into the game world. Furthermore, his appearance is that of the Demon King Sada himself, whom he had just defeated…?!
