There is a mysterious group of people who inflict cruel and fatal games on people for their own amusement. Murata's hand-picked contributors come together in a mind blowing experiment of what happens when top manga artists work in the unusual medium of color. Robot was partially published in English, the first three volumes by Digital Manga Publishing from September 19, 2005 to December 1, 2006, after which the license was taken over by Udon Entertainment, who published volumes 4 and 5 from December 1, 2007 to May 1, 2008, before they too dropped the license. It has been published in its entirety in French by Glénat.
