After being rejected by Kazui, Rai spirals into a life of sin and debauchery. His roommate, Mamiya, intervenes and attempts to pull him out of his downward spiral by bringing him home. However, Rai lashes out in a moment of desperation and unleashes his anger on Mamiya. Typically, Rai lives without regrets or guilt, yet he surprisingly feels deep remorse following the incident with Mamiya.
