Makoto is on a desperate search for her missing best friend, Hinano, amidst a string of kidnappings by a female serial killer. She's willing to resort to anything to find her friend, including summoning the phantom student of her middle school, Yotsuya-senpai. To her surprise, Yotsuya turns out to be a real person who's obsessed with creating terrifying stories based on the people and situations at their school. While helping him craft his tales, Makoto realizes that Yotsuya's stories often contain elements of truth that could reveal the terrible fate of her friend. But will she be able to convince him to tell her the truth before it's too late?
