Takane Kiku and Takane Ryuji are the children of a legendary world contender boxer. Kiku, the daughter seems to have inherited her father's boxing sense and tries to teach Ryuji to become a world contender. However, Ryuji hates boxing and gets picked on. After Kiku and Ryuji leave their hometown for Tokyo, Ryuji eventually learns to discover a passion for boxing after an encounter with a boxing prodigy, Kenzaki Jun. Note: My favorite passage is when Sawamura spins through a window with a helmet, his trousers missing, with crap coming out of his ass, and everybody looking at him. He is the most ridiculous man in the world at this moment!

This is a mixed martial arts fighting manga about the Miyazawa school of martial arts. Initially, it is about Kiichi trying to heal his father after he was nearly killed by his brother Kiryu. But then it goes on to be less about that as his father recovers and some tournament style fighting begins. At that point various apparently overwhelming opponents will encounter Kiichi on his way to the top. The objectives of the various characters start to play a more and more important role, as well as the different philosophical projections of several martial arts and disciplines.
